Overview

Otasku Scout is a private job-search assistant that helps organize job alerts, job postings, fit analysis, and application preparation. This policy explains what information the app processes and how it is used.

Information We Process

When you authorize the app, Otasku Scout may process job-search related account data such as email messages containing job alerts, job posting links, sender details, job titles, companies, locations, posting descriptions, timestamps, and application workflow notes.

The app may also store derived data such as parsed job records, deduplication identifiers, fit scores, review notes, and agent task history needed to operate the job pipeline.

How Information Is Used

Information is used to identify job opportunities, parse and normalize job details, detect duplicates, score job fit, prepare application material, and display job-search workflow status.

Google user data is used only to provide or improve user-facing job-search features in Otasku Scout.

Google API Data

Otasku Scout accesses Google account data only after explicit authorization through Google OAuth. The app requests access only for features needed to ingest and organize job-related email data.

Otasku Scout does not sell Google user data, does not use Google user data for advertising, and does not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide app functionality, comply with law, or protect the app and its users.

AI Processing

Some features may send job posting text, job metadata, or user instructions to AI service providers to parse postings, assess fit, summarize opportunities, or prepare application material. The app sends only the information needed for the requested feature.

Retention and Deletion

Job records and related workflow data are retained while they are needed to operate the application. You may request deletion of stored data or revoke Google access from your Google Account permissions page.

Security

Otasku Scout uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect stored data. No system can guarantee perfect security, so access should be granted only to accounts intended for use with this private workflow.
